How to Find a Wii Fit

This year the ultimate extension to the fastest selling games console was released. The Wii Fit (and Balance Board) hit the shelves in April (Europe) and May (Stateside) then subsequently flew off the shelves faster than the greased weasel stuff. Americans were not at all happy though, with Nintendo apparently shipping 500,000 units to the USA and 2 million to Europe. The Euro is strong, we think. However it seems that now it is nigh on impossible to get hold of one unless you camp outside of Comet and ambush the infrequent delivery van.

Everyone is aware of the issues that are affecting the environment but many find it difficult to motivate themselves to actually take action and do something about it. Today Gina Trapani from Lifehacker points us in the direction of a great article at Positivity Blog about tips from none other than Stephen King, master of the horror genre. I like the tip that tells you to write your draft and then let it rest. I always find that I can get much better results by revisiting a text maybe a week or even a month later, with a fresh perspective on the subject.

Amongst other news, it was reported today that half of adults ‘will be obese by 2050′ as a consequence of exposure to modern sedentary lifestyles. This epidemic is projected to cost the country £45 billion a year by 2050. By then, only 10 per cent of men and 15 per cent of women will be the right weight for their height. So what other reasons are there for wanting to lose weight; you may want to be fitter and healthier, have a special occasion around the corner or just for your own self esteem.
