If you were ever looking for an easy way to teach or learn IT related subjects then check out these simple yet highly informative PowerPoint Presentations from Patrick Crispen. Great for both students and educators, they are split into 5 topic categories: General Technology, Internet Tools, Multimedia, Pedagogy and Security / Privacy. The files range from about 150kb to 6mb in size and if you need a free PowerPoint viewer, you can download one here. Some of the files are accompanied by Flash guides and handouts.

General Technology begins with some subjects that also live in other areas, but also dedicated ones such as Technology Primer and Whats New and Different in MS Office 2007.

Internet Tools covers blogging, web design and search engines with a heavy focus on Google.

Multimediaincludes presentations on Camtasia, Photoshop, MS Producer and Further Internet Graphics.

Pedagogy as the name suggests, caters for the strategies of teaching and how to use technology to your advantage.

Security and Privacy has some list based tutorials and also some breakdowns of security technology.

All in all, this is a fantastic resource provided by a professional with a proven track record. Pound for pound, probably worth a thousand YouTube home made tutorials. Also have a look at The Weekly Fab Five. Top tips.
