We all know about geeks. We have heard that there some handsome geeks. I have a new term: Metro Geek. The phrase itself is a Neologism, a Portmanteau and is partially Oxymoronic. The etymology and definition of the phrase are:
[METRO (as in metropolitan) + GEEK (a computer expert or enthusiast)] . Source: dictionary.com
Def: This is a person (usually, but not always, male) who has all the normal intelligent / tech-savvy traits of the regular geek, but who is also very ‘easy-on-the-eye’, has a strong concern for their aesthetic appearance and possesses formidable social skills to boot.
Clearly, I consider myself to be a Metro Geek. My wife strongly disagrees. Remember, you read it here first.
