When you are buying things on the web, it is often difficult to imagine exactly what size a certain item is. Online shopping lacks the tactile nature of traditional product-picking where a customer can handle an item to feel its weight and size and even compare to other items. Sizeasy compares the dimensions that you input to the site with preset items and also displays a 3D view of the object at actual size. The service has been around for a while now so there is an amassing database of user-inputted items with the most popular at the moment being…the iPhone.
The site is still in beta phase at the moment, we’ll see if it becomes a success.
